Old Barn at the Granville Feeder of the Ohio & Erie Canal, Granville Ohio
Old Barn at the Granville Feeder of the Ohio & Erie Canal, Granville Ohio in USA
This morning the air was cold, the snow was white and crispy beneath my feet. I drive past this old barn on my way to the Elementary School every morning. The barn can only be seen from the road during the cold of winter, for the fecundity of summer hides the weaken structure from sight. My interest in the barn is due to it's justpostion to the remains of the Granville Feeder of the Ohio & Erie Canal. The feeder canal was 5-miles long and was constructed during 1831 -32. The canal's purpose was not only supply water to the main canal, but also to provide a pathway to market products and goods produced in town of Granville Ohio.

Home for Thanksgiving in Farmington Hills Michigan 2009. After the feast of the beast, it's a family tradition to get outside and throw the ball for Bo. Only 243-days until we open the lake house, but who is counting.
